Ettore Pacetti, composer and musicologist, was born on January 28, 1956 in Rome, where he completed his musical studies. He followed courses PhD in Composition held by Franco Donatoni at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome, graduating in 1985. From 1976 to 1984 he worked in cultural sections of TG1, the principal television news of RAI - Radiotelevisione Italiana, about classical music. He joined RAI in 1984 and he has always worked at the sound archives, taking care of Teche RAI since 1998 for the criteria for classification of music material and engaging himself, in particular, in the recovery and classification of Stereophonic Tape Library in Turin. He cared, in collaboration with Paul Donati, the volume + CD ROM "There were once nine oscillators", published by RAI ERI in 2002 and dedicated to the study Phonology Milan RAI.
