I’m an audiovisual archivist and a historian who’s work focuses in the role that audiovisual sources play in the writing of political history. Since 2015 I’m in charge of the design and implementation of the Collection Management policy at Señal Memoria, the audiovisual archive of the public broadcast network in Colombia. I graduated as a Historian from the Universidad Nacional of Colombia and as professional in Government and International Relations from the Universidad Externado of Colombia. In 2014 I finished my studies in the Masters on Preservation and Presentation of the Moving Image at the University of Amsterdam. I ́ve published a series of articles regarding the importance of audiovisual sources for the writing of history.
